Creme de la Creme Episode 3 Info
To secure a place in the semi-finals, the teams must impress the formidable judging panel of Benoit Blin, chef patissier at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Claire Clark MBE, world-renowned pastry chef and consultant, and Cherish Finden, executive pastry chef at The Langham, London.
Eager to please the judges this week are two teams of chefs who work in upmarket patisserie shops, while the third team hails from the kitchens of an exclusive Scottish hotel.
In the Miniature Challenge teams must produce 36 macaroons, 36 petit antoine chocolate slices, and 36 pyramid-shaped cakes invented specially for the competition. They have only 3 hours to make all 108 masterpiece pastries, and with the judges watching every detail, it’ll be a tense but exciting show.
In the Showpiece Challengs they must take a British dessert and re-create it as a fine-dining experience, along with a beautiful showpiece display. Look out for the incredible lemon meringue pie. Which team will make it through to the next round?
